This week's Ask WF (an ongoing feature at ATV) looks at the number of character accounts allocated per player. Will players be able to have more than one character? As of right now, we are leaning toward giving two characters per account. There is a possibility that there will be one character per account with the option to purchase more character slots per account. We will test out the variations before making a final decision. However, there is one thing that is certain; the number of characters per account will be small. For those who know their Atriarch community history, this solution was proposed by the community as an alternative between the hardcore RP-ers (who wanted just one slot) and those who wanted 5 or more slots. Well, it's been a while since I've had posting rights. I think Herok had quite an internal struggle deciding whether he was going to let the Pirate back in the house. Oh, actual news! Atriarch has released their Cavalon Lab Symbols for the different Sciences. Check it out here!

On ATV, three new questions, this time by Valhalid, have been answered by Serafina as part of the weekly Ask World Fusion. Here's a brief exerpt on Atrian environment: Atriana's planet is arranged with certain biomes in mind to create a realistic ecosystem and environment. As we design areas in Atriana, we use the biomes to determine where we can realistically place different types creatures and plants. We believe using the biome method makes our decisions in world design a bit more sophisticated than using the well-it-looks-like-it-would-go-there method. Right now, the biomes are used by the designers, but eventually we plan to make the biomes interactive for players. The newest installment can be seen here.

After a not-brief-enough and frustrating hiatus, the site is back online. Unfortunately we lost the news files so we're starting from scratch! If you find anything out of whack, please send me (herok@atwatcher.com) an e-mail being as specific as possible so I can patch it up.
