Gameplay Movie and Beta Friday, February 8, 2002 - 10:35 AM [Filed by Herok]
Recently Serafina had this to say in #atriarch:
[Serafina] I think with the length of time we've all been waiting for Atriarch, I can make a new tagline for it.... "Atriarch sees more students off to college than any other game!"
[Bagricula] Serafina, any word from Arc on probably next Beta session? [Serafina] he is preparing the game for a demo we have on Wednesday [Serafina] so, if that goes well, then hopefully soon [Serafina] He fixed the avatar freezing problem
[Serafina] so, I have a quick question for you guys. We were just discussing this and was curious... what is the best length to make a gameplay movie? We were debating between several short one or one longer one. [Hunter] Id say a few shortones [Bagricula] Longer is better...but it takes longer to download [Hunter] show off a variety of things faster [Bagricula] It depends on how much content you can put in.. [Hunter] true [EolirinXianve] well, if you have a long one that jumps around... [Hunter] how long you aiming for movie wise? [Serafina] I remember games that did it in different ways. Some of them would do 20-30 second really short clips, but several of them. Some companies would do a single 2-minute-long one [Serafina] anyway, ok, we'll probably shoot for a 2 minute movie then

ps. the gameplay movie will make you drool. ;)
