Impersonating other posters is not tolerated - this includes representatives from World Fusion and site administrators.
Please don't tell other posters to read the Guidelines - although we really appreciate people trying to help, it tends to only piss the poster in question off. Let us know in email if necessary, and we'll take care of it ASAP :)
Dev Board
The Atriarch Development Board is a forum for discussing proposed changes to the game with other players and World Fusion representatives/developers. Its purpose is to provide a civilized and intelligent forum to help improve the game. Unproductive comments should not be posted here.
QotW Forum
The Question of the Week Forum is a special board, designed to host the Dev Team's official Question of the Week. Please do not start threads on this forum, they will be removed by one of the moderators, but feel free to reply to any of the threads that already exist. This board is the only one on the site with a mandatory user registration. All normal rules apply.
Discussions
The Discussions Board is only moderated in a limited way, and is the correct place for topics that don't belong on the other boards. World Fusion representatives also read this board, making it the appropriate place for non-development related questions and comments.
Alternate Atriana
The Alternate Atriana Board is a location where characters can come together without worrying about the fiction-constraints of the "real" Atriarch world. It is intended for role-playing and In Character discussions relating to in-game issues only.
Faction Forum
The Faction Forum is a board for asking and answering other peoples faction related questions. If you have a faction that you want to advertise, this is a good place for it.
Do not post dev-related messages or bug reports.
Keep questions about game mechanics to the Sage Tower or Dev Board.
Keep out-of-character topics to a minimum.
Sexually explicit posts are not tolerated. Sexually suggestive posts are only tolerated in moderation and when done in a tasteful manner.
In-character conflict is welcome as long as it remains in-character. If the discussion turns to a heated debate between players, it should immediately be resolved on another board, or in private.
Penalties
Most posters will receive a warning for their first offenses. Under some circumstances, posts that do not fall under the guidelines will be deleted outright, this can be considered a first warning.
Repeat problem posts or severe offenses will result in a removal of posting rights. Under most circumstances, this will be a temporary ban and will last approximately 48 hours.
For severe problems, or for repeat problem posters, a permanent banning will be instated. If you post pornography on the board, attempt to use our site and the freedom of the HTML in the boards for Bad Things™, or you just really make an effort, expect to be banned immediately.
All guidelines will be interpreted by their spirit and intent, and not the letter stated. Interpretation is left up to the moderators - do not argue with the officer, smile and say "Yes sir, I will not do that again". And then don't do it again, because they will find out if you do.
For comments about moderation, including inquiries on any bannings that you may feel are unfair, contact the Lead Board Moderator. Please make sure you fill out the form that appears when you are banned first.
